Eligibility / Shortlisting:
- Branches: CE, IT, AIDS, ENTC
- Criteria: CGPA: 8.5 and above | 10th & 12th: 60% and above
Application Route & Timeline:
- Route: On Campus
- Timeline: OA on Sept 8th, Interviews on Sept 9th & 10th

Platform: The assessment was conducted on SEB platform. Heads up: At that time, it only worked on Windows.
Format:
- MCQs: Covered General AI (GenAI), CS Fundamentals, Java output-based questions, and Multithreading.
- DSA: One relatively easy Queue-based question involving basic push and pop operations with specific input.

Location: ACI Worldwide office in Kalyani Nagar. This was a very long interview!
Key Discussion Points:
- Projects: I had a deep-dive discussion about my projects, especially my AI project. Questions focused on end-to-end details, such as the "context window" for my video summarizer and how I would handle longer videos. (Approx. 15 mins)
- GenAI: I was asked questions such as: What is Prompt Caching? Explain Skills. Explain MCP (Model Context Protocol) – Is it one-way or two-way? How do AI agents and other tools communicate through MCP?
- SQL: I was asked to write a query to count employees whose salary was greater than their manager's.
- DBMS: I was asked about ACID properties and Normalization.
- Computer Networks (CN): Since CN was on my resume, I was asked about TLS, OSI and TCP models (layers and protocols), and DHCP.
- JavaScript: I was asked about the syntax for

- DSA: I was asked a standard tree problem – Lowest Common Ancestor (LCA).
- Testing: I was asked about Unit testing, integration testing, black-box testing, and white-box testing.

This round was very chill.
Discussion: I was asked basic questions about my resume and projects. Interestingly, the interviewers in both technical rounds didn't heavily focus on my internship.
Career Path: I was asked about my experience in testing (I said I didn't have any) and my preference between Development and Testing. I chose Development.
Insight: The manager was very supportive and provided insightful explanations about testing.

The round focused entirely on behavioral aspects.
Questions I was asked included:
- Describe your strengths and weaknesses.
- Why ACI Worldwide?
- How would you deal with conflicts?

HR/Behavioral Questions: The main focus was on conflict resolution scenarios.

Stay calm, listen carefully to the questions, take a breath, and then answer thoughtfully.

Be ready for GenAI MCQs and basic CS Fundamentals.
Practice Java output and Multithreading concepts. I practiced on Gfg.
Prepare your projects for deep-dive questions, especially AI/ML projects (e.g., context windows, scalability).
Study concepts like Prompt Caching, Skills, and MCP.
Ensure your resume is polished and you can speak to every point on it.
At the end of every round, you may be given an opportunity to ask questions. Don't miss this chance — prepare thoughtful questions before the interview.
